What am I passionate about? This month? Is just to continue on my current road to completing my criminal justice/psychology degree. It is truly a work in progress
and I am only three years in. The degree is to make me feel like I have contributed something real to society and to myself. Even though I am a proud mother, daughter, niece, granddaughter, and niece. I feel like I can do more. I need to do more. Thus, I am doing more. My passion.
How do you find a new passion?
I found my passion while taking psychology. Or should I start with psychology? I began psychology because it always seems like I am the “go to” person for everyone.
So, I might as well learn some skills in listening attentively and not just rattling off nonsensical advice that is sound for the moment, but not for duration. Anyway, psychology became my passion. Then I started getting more into politics and decided that I needed to learn more about our History and our justice system. Thus, criminal justice came into the mix.
Again, this is my passion for making me a better mother for my children to look up to. I cannot demand a higher education from them if I’m not pursuing the same goal. My life is my passion and my passions guide my life.
Like my granny used to say, “can you chew bubble gum and walk?” My answer was verbal, “yes”, but in reality, it is, “No, I can’t.”
So, I am a full-time student and my passion is to just complete.
Since school is in session, Spring session, my posts will be a little short and, hopefully to the point. With that say.
My education is my passion and I am currently in love with the journey. However, “it is a process.” 😉
