A Comedy of Errors

Murphy’s Law says, “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.” Write about a time everything did — fiction encouraged here, too!

I went to visit a friend of mine in Sacramento as she was flying on from Seattle, WA to handle some business in Stockton, CA. The drive for me from Phoenix to Sacramento was the normal eleven-hour drive. Well, it was pretty normal until I hit came over the Grapevine and it was time to take the 5 freeway. Well, the entrance ramp was blocked off, but you couldn’t tell from looking at it. So, I followed the flow of traffic heading to SacTown, until I and about ten other cars were pulled over and chastised for going that way. I mean the officers were yelling at all of us and said he should give all of us tickets. I am glad he didn’t.

I should’ve known from that encounter it was going to be an interesting trip.

There is more to the trip of Comedic Errors. Stay Tuned for the continuation.

Bonus assignment: do you keep a notebook next to your bed? Good. Tomorrow morning, jot down the first thought you have upon waking, whether or not it’s coherent.
