She was shocked after doing a search online for his name to see what he has done with his life and to figure out if she had dreamt it all. Maybe it was all a very bad dream that she somehow made into her reality. After doing multiple searches like some sort of detective, she found some interesting information. She actually first found a story of a woman who was 20 years of age who claimed that he had sexually assaulted with a .357 magnum in a park. It happened the day before the 4th of July. He was 22 and has a family history of his brothers sexually assaulting someone.
There is a news article that refers to them as the “Most Dysfunctional Family.” It is interesting though because his parents have not participated in any deviant behavior with their sons. His father is a pastor and his mother is a Christian missionary. His two older brothers are doing long prison sentences for the violent rape of five different women on different occasions. His other older brother is serving time for robbery and assault. He, himself was charged for another crime and sentenced to three years for the rape of his brother’s pregnant girlfriend.
So, it does not seem what she experienced over thirty years ago was a dream. His record as an adult seems to mirror what happened to her. Was this her fault? Should she have spoken up when it happened to her and his other victims would have been spared? Who knows the end results of the woulda, shoulda, coulda’s. All, she knows is that the woman he assaulted with the gun, was a good example of why she may have kept quiet.
The woman immediately ran to a neighbor’s house after her assault, banged on the door. When a woman answered she was hysterical and they called the police and the police recorded her saying between sobs “he raped me…he raped me…he has a gun!” She eventually spoke with the district attorney’s office and gave a detailed account of what happened without straying from any detail. Then after she received threats from him and his family and supposed girlfriend, the victim recanted her story and said it was all made up. He told her he would kill her if she said anything about what happened between them. Out of fear for herself and the life of her 18-month-old son, she said everything was consensual and she made it all up because she was angry with him. The D.A. didn’t really believe her. But what can they do when their star witness says it was all a lie?
She will tell her story of why she decided to look him up in the next post. Her experience changed the course of her life.
This story will have roughly 4 different additions. Next Installment of “Broken Trust” Coming Soon. Stay Tuned
